We are all called to be Warriors. Tonight at work when everyone was asleep I went outside to smoke. I like to go outside to smoke a cigarette, sing to the moon and pray. While I was singing and praying a thought hit me and I would like to share it with you. "We are all called to be warriors." In the military we have different types of soldiers. We have airborne Rangers and Calvary. We have foot soldiers and special forces. We have air support and medics. Different types of soldiers but all necessary for victory. Different types of soldiers but all on the same team fighting for the same cause. What am I saying?

"We are all called to be warriors. Native Americans are the keepers and caretakers of Mother Earth. We are to bring unity, harmony and balance back to Mother Earth. We all have a part in this cause, this calling. We need different types of warriors. We need activists. Not the stereotypical activist who is out to be seen and make a name for them self. We need activists who are willing to get involved. Activists who will roll up their sleeves and pick up litter. Activists who will go out and stand up for the poor, the hungry, the homeless and the needy without expecting anything in return but the Great Spirit's blessing.

We need story tellers who will teach the children and those who are beginning their journey on the Red Road/White Path. We need storytellers who will teach our young to respect the elders, respect themselves, respect others and respect Mother Earth. We need Special Forces Units (teachers, counselors, elders, encourager's etc.). Those who will help others find balance in their lives.

We need Prayer Warriors. Prayer Warriors are the backbone to this cause and calling. Where will you stand? What will you do? If not now, when? If not you, who?
