SANTA ROSA TRIBAL COUNCIL TURNS TO ATTEMPTED MURDER
Non Indian Tribal Chairman Boast About Killing Indians-AIM Warriors

Today Leon Scribner a member of the Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians was nearly murdered by members of the corrupt tribal council chaired by adopted non Indian John Marcus. Leon Scribner while walking on the Santa Rosa Reservation was brutally assaulted as he was apparently returning from the gravesite of his father buried there this Friday. Leon was one of the 85% percent of the original Santa Rosa Indians disenrolled by the corrupt Chairman John Marcus who boost his organized crime connections south of the border. Leon Scribner was beaten to unconsciousness to be left for dead in a ditch. Tribal members heard the screams as Leon was begging for his life. Afterwards they saw the blue van of Garret Marcus
the brother of Chairman John Marcus drive away. Leon having been left
for dead was found not breathing and had to be resuscitated. His beaten and bloody body required an emergency life flight helicopter to the nearest hospital where he remains in critical condition. Leon later
regained temporary consciousness only to identify John Marcus brothers Garret and Alfred as his the assailants, including one other unknown assailant and a get away driver.
Leon Scribner was known to have had knowledge of John Marcus and his Council of felons illicit and illegal activities. John Marcus had
openly bragged to tribal members that he was going to kill Leon Scribner, his wife and two leaders of the American Indian Movement AIM). AIM had been actively defending the 85% disenrolled Santa Rosa original Indians while challenging the corrupt Council of John Marcos for his Reign of Terror including alleged drug distribution.
The Riverside Sheriff department later that evening arrested Garrett
Marcus for alleged felony charges of attempted murder and assault with
a deadly weapon. Alfred Marcus currently on parole for sexual child
molestation had fled the crime scene as has the other two assailants.
They are is considered armed and dangerous, anyone knowing of his
whereabouts call 911. The Marcus brothers had allegedly stated to Leon
while they were beating him that they hated Indians, especially Santa
Rosa Indians. Coming from a non-Indian that should be cause for a Hate
Crime investigation. John Marcos and his corrupt council of felons had
allegedly ordered the murder as he had so stated on numerous occasions in front of Tribal members.
Unfortunately, the very unpopular superintendent James Fletcher of the
Bureau of Indian Affairs has continued to support the Marcus brothers
Reign of Terror as well as the 85% disenrollment of the entire Santa
Rosa Reservation. This in cludes some local law enforcement authorities, FBI, DEA, and the Dept of Interior Inspector Generals Office who at times seemed to have turned a blind eye. AIM is now calling for a
congressional investigation into the extend of the B.I.A.
superintendents involvement.
Now it is time for all decent Indian Nations and Indian People to
openly step up and strongly support decent Indian families, including the innocent Band of Santa Rosa Cahuilla Indians consisting of mostly women and children. Leon Scribner was one of the few remaining adult males living on the Santa Rosa Reservation standing strong to protect the innocent Band against the tyranny, embezzlement, and drug trafficking of corrupt tribal chairman John Marcus and his council of felons and drug dealers. This situation is reminiscent of the Dickey Wilson days of corrupt tribal leaders and goons promoting violence and disenrolling original Indians, and this needs t o stop.
AIM San Diego leader, Joseph Red Bear has now stated that the gloves
are off. We tried to work within the legal system and it has failed our
people. We will do whatever it takes to defend Indian People. He is
now calling for AIM WARRIORS to step up to defend the honor and
integrity of all Indian People against non-Indian aggression.
This appalling situation is an embarrassment to all the positives that
Indian culture stands for. To allow a non Indian chairman and his
brothers, including a corrupt council of felons and drug dealers to
openly promote hate and violence against original Indian families while
disenrolling 85% of the entire tribe is sure to have negative
repercussions on all Indian People. Indian People need to be united for
the good of our communities and our childrens future. What kind of
world do you want for your children?
