Defenders are on the agenda regarding the open-pit abandoned uranium mines in SD, MT, and WY whose water run-off and air pollution is coming into SD.

Prayers for the Black Hills and
Regular Meeting
Feb. 22, 2006
At the last meeting it was decided to have a Special Prayer Gathering to pray for the Black Hills as so much destruction is happening in these sacred mountains. A caravan will leave at 9:00 AM this coming Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, from the Mother Butler Center for prayers at Bear Butte for the Black Hills.
A potluck lunch and the Regular Meeting of Defenders of the Black Hills will follow at noon in the coffee room at St. Isaac Jogues Church next door to the Mother Butler Center, 221 Knollwood Dr., Rapid City, SD. Everyone is invited.
