Hello Friends, Since 2001, My Two Beads Worth has had its annual Giveaway which up until this year, was always held in May. Due to health, time restrictions and in re-building this website, I fell behind and as a result, I was unable to get the Giveaway ready for May. However, perhaps June is a good month to have the Giveaway. World Peace and Prayer Day is held every June 21st and we need friendship in the world so much. It's the only way we can ever realize true peace. Below is a photograph of this year's Giveaway gift. It is a Cherokee Friendship Pottery, created and made by Cherokee Artist PJ Gilliam Stewart. This Traditional Design represents how friends are interwoven like the weave of a basket. The hand-embossed copper turtle represents long life and prosperity. Copper is a traditional metal of the Cherokee. The pot has been burned in dry grasses and pine needles, giving each a unique finish. ![]()

It is also a way to give thanks to my Ancestors. As some of you may know, I lost my only brother in November of last year - so I would like to dedicate this year's Giveaway to my brother, Tom Greyhawk Sawyers. He was a good friend to all who knew him. Last updated on June 07, 2005 |
