"First Nations" Art and Food Fair and Donation Event"

This will be a combination "First Nations" Art and Food Fair and Donation Event" with bead work, quill work, star quilts, paintings along with "Authentic Indigenous Nation's Food" to be served during the afternoons and evenings.

This is a fund raising event for and put on by the LAKOTA OKICIYAPI who are members of the Rosebud Lakota Nation!

Art Items: Star Quilts, Bead Work, Quill Work, Dream Catchers, Paintings and Drawings

Food Menu: Indian Tacos made with Buffalo meat, Wojapi, Fry Bread, Vegetable Soup

Fry Bread Mix to make 15 - 20 pieces of your own fry bread

Friday July 6, Saturday 7th, and Sunday July 8th at the Community Of Christ building located on 23d Street, 1 block east of 291, 'Southwest corner of 23rd St & R D Mize, across from the Medical Center of Independence Hospital, in Independence, Missouri.

There will parking for 100 vehicles.

Event times are 9 am to 9 pm on the 6th and 7th and from 1 pm to 6 pm on the 8th and the truck with "donated gifts" will leave on the night of the 1st or the 8th. List of items needed to "GIVE AWAY" on the days of this event.
