Federal Register Gathering of Native Plants New Proposals
URGENT - COMMENT DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 21, 2007
Michael McIntyre of the US Forest Service asked me to circulate this proposal among the Native American community, as it could affect the gathering of traditional plant materials. The attached pdf. document contains the proposal as well as the address to send letters to. The comment deadline is December 21, hence the urgency of getting feedback from the People. Thanks for your time. Posted by Corina Roberts.
Could you send this through your networks......it is important that your input is heard as there are things in this could affect gathering of materials for traditional and cultural purposes. A formal letter will be coming from Jody but with the quick turnaround, I wanted to get this out to you.
