Hello there and Happy New Year!
Greetings from Oneida,

My name is Danielle Patterson and I was the one assaulted when Halbritter's police preformed Forced Armed Entry into my home while my 7 year-old witnessed all. On Sunday Dec.30th the community along with 30 US citizens held a peaceful protest because Halbritter held the first Nation meeting since fives years at our longhouse.

I also had a open house and hung a huge sign on my house that said"YOU CAN BREAK MY DOORS BUT NOT MY SPIRIT!" 24 of the protester's includeing my 11 year old son Preston, were assulted by Halbritter's so-called Nation Police. This Nation police lost their deputization agreement over a year ago for criminal actions against Oneida and non-native people.Many NY State police and City Police were called here by Halbritters police to assist them so they could charge everyone with tresspassing.

Halbritter's mother Gloria assaulted the protesters and had torn up our signs. Clint Hill of Halbritter's sapposive men's council hit a observer with his truck. 24 assulted went and filed charges at the Oneida City police Dept.We had several cam-corders and obtained this incident on video! This video has been mass produced and are being recorded by the seconds. I wanted to let you know what is taking place here now.

Spies in Halbritter's meeting stated that Halbritter announced that he has big plans for this land and will do whatever it takes to evict every last resident of this community. Halbritter is off his rocker and really has it out for the people that speak out against him. We need a lot of people here now more than ever. Halbritter has hired more police and is insane. We are not certain of the lenghts he'll go to now. We will remain to tell the truth about Halbritter and pray the right people will reach us in time.

I just hope we will not lose our lives over this. This community consists of women, children and elders.We will remain strong and hope there will be strength in numbers for us. I hope to get the news out and people here before it's too late. We need Peace, Prayers, and People!
