ONE SPIRIT
Humanitarian Day is September 30th. One Spirit working together with Islam Relief USA to get as many books as possible for the children of the Crow Creek Reservation this month. Many kind and caring people have contributed books, but more is needed - particularly reference books.
For less than $5.00 you can contribute to this effort to provide the Crow Creek kids with books that let them read stories about their culture and history.
Also, classic and popular books of all kinds for all ages are needed.
If you have books that are suitable for young people that you are willing to donate, please send them to:

Crow Creek Book Drive - September 2007
There is still time left to purchase books for the children. All my life I've had access to books and I love to read. I can't imagine not having a library or my own books to read growing up. I can't even consider our school not having a library of its own either. We take these things for granted, but in America today, there are so many children and adults who cannot read or write. Give a child the gift of knowledge - please donate a book for the children of the Crow Creek Reservation.
