The 29th Annual Mediucine Ways Conference and Birdsinging Gathering
Miyaxwe, Miyaxwe,
I hope that you all are doing well. The conference and gathering has been confirmed for May 16th 2009. We have submitted letters to 2 tribes so far for sponsorship and are waiting for a response. We also have 4 confirmed speakers that will talk on the traditional healing theme. They are Pauline Morillo, Jaunita Dixon and Danny and Levine John who are medicine people from Dine'. We still have a couple more slots to fill, so please come to the meetings with you input if you can.
The next meeting is at Sherman Indian HIgh School. Lori Sisqoc has kindly allowed us tyo use the Clark Cultural Center on campus for the meetings. It is on Feb. 23rd, Monday evening at 5:30. Please call for directions at 951-216-8586.
